Donna Ryalls owns Simply Flowers in Musselburgh, a suburban shopping area in Dunedin. Simply Flowers seems an unlikely name as there is no way you could call Donna’s arrangements, SIMPLE. When she rang me and said she’d made a shoe and it was rather large I was imagining maybe a size 10 or 11 shoe. So I wandered into the shop and was quite stunned to see the size of her creation. Well it just kept growing said Donna. I had no intention of making it this size. Donna’s creation for the When North meets South exhibition is magnificent.
