Eyes closed

I had quiet hopes that Rob might choose to paint Kirsten Cliff’s haiku in a style I’d admired while interviewing him at his studio. When Pauline rang me to say Rob’s work had arrived at the Gallery I was quick to think of a reason why I needed to hop in my car and head down the Bay straight away! And yes, my quiet hopes had been realised.

Rob entitled his work –   “HAIKU – Cicada Song V”. It is ink and colour on Xuan paper.
