Taking shelter

Song of the Heron

The lady who bought Tash’s painting told me she’s building a new house and she knew exactly where it was going to be placed. She’s originally from the UK so thought the heron was a great painting to have in her adopted country.

I’m sure this lady would have enjoyed being at Dunedin’s Botanic Gardens this morning. We went there for a sheltered walk and were just moving through a bush track when this tui flew in front of us and stopped for a lunch break!  We watched in silence and awe. Because it seemed very comfortable with our presence I pulled out my camera, stepped closer and ………..  a magical memory!!
