Margaret Beverland

Margaret in Ayoshima

Margaret is co-editor of the New Zealand haiku magazine, Kokako, and Treasurer of the Katikati Haiku Pathway Focus Group. She lives with her husband and extremely spoiled German Short-haired Pointer on a kiwifruit orchard at the edge of the Tauranga Harbour. Her interest in haiku was fostered when she moved from Auckland to Katikati in 2003. Since then her work has been published in Kokako, Paper Wasp, and various anthologies. Occasionally she pens a poem or a short story, and has had both these genres published in Takahe.
